ABOUT BRAD
A graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale School of Music with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, I have been teaching the musicians of tomorrow since 1997.
I take pride in developing the whole musician, by fostering a love of music and exploration to guide them throughout life. Using an approach that includes technique, standard literature, history and music theory, my students learn to appreciate the nuances of music, and develop an awareness of how music can influence their everyday life, and opens the doors to understanding the potential of music in the future to make them a more versatile performing musician.
Brad provides extensive knowledge of instrumental technique / pedagogy & Music Theory / Composition. In addition to his work as a music educator, Brad is also a published composer for solo and ensemble instrumental music.
In addition to his work as an educator, Brad also performs regularly as Principal Tuba with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra.
